Instruction at Mage Music is unique…

Whether you are just embarking on the adventure of studying music, or you are a seasoned veteran looking to add that extra something to your repertoire, Mage Music will offer a unique learning experience for you.

One of the things that sets our music instruction apart from the rest, is that our instructor will come to you! Within a 25 mile* radius of Kingsley, we can provide instruction in the comfort of your own home, eliminating the problems of having to get the student (and the equipment!) to the instructor.

In fact, beginning guitar students won’t even need an instrument to try out our instruction and see if it suits their needs! Mage Music offers new and used instruments that students can rent at very competitive rates, with the option to buy if they decide to continue pursuing music instruction. Rental fees will not begin until the third lesson, thus giving the student some time to evaluate our instruction before committing any of their hard earned money! Should you decide to purchase a guitar elsewhere, we can offer some tips on what to look for, and recommendations on reputable dealers.

Here are just a few of the unique services that Mage Music offers our students :

• Completely FREE to try! – That’s right, absolutely no charge whatsoever to check it out and see if it’s right for you! The first lesson is free, and students can “borrow” an instrument up to their third lesson without accruing any rental fees!
• FREE tuner with first paid lesson. – If you decide to continue with music lessons, we will provide the student with a quality guitar tuner free with the first paid lesson. If the student already has a tuner that they wish to use, they may deduct $10 off the lesson fee.
• Flexible scheduling. – Lessons are held weekday evenings from 5:00 to 9:00pm, and Saturdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Lessons can be scheduled for half hour or one hour sessions weekly, bi-weekly, semi-weekly – whatever suits your needs!
• Instrument rental. – No need to go out and purchase an expensive instrument straight away. Mage Music has new and used instruments available for rent or purchase, allowing the student to try out various instruments before purchasing. Can’t decide on an acoustic or electric? Nylon or steel string? Maybe a bass guitar? Why not try them all, and see which one is right for you? Any and all rental fees will also be applied to the purchase price of any instrument you choose to buy – even if it is a different instrument than the one you have been renting. We will also offer advice and experience on what to look for in buying a guitar, should you choose to purchase one elsewhere.
• A full service, professional repair department to help the student with any problems they may be having with their instrument, and keep it in top notch condition at all times. There are also no labor charges on repairs or adjustments made for Mage Music students!

Pricing :

• Lessons are $15 per half hour session, $30 per one hour session.
• Rental fees are typically $15-$40 per month depending on instrument. Rental fees will not begin until student has completed third lesson. A deposit may be required to take advantage of this offer. All rental fees will be applied to the purchase price of any instrument, should you decide to buy one.
• If you wish to receive lessons in your home, and you live outside of a 2 mile radius of Kingsley, a $0.25 per mile fee will apply. Eg., if you are 5 miles (one way) from Kingsley, a fee of $2.50 per lesson would apply. This fee will not apply to lessons at our studio, to home lessons in Kingsley, or inside the 2 mile radius.
